"Te Au Mārie established in 2015 to lead out the governments Tier 1 Tuia 250 Sester-centennial Commemorations for Taitokerau in 2019. A good chunk of this programe included the reclamation, collations, and development of the region's historical narratives, including the development of a Cultural Trail App that would serve to inform, educate, inspire, and entice.

"June Pitman was offered a six month fixed contract in August 2021 by TRONR to project manage a hapū-led redevelopment of an interactive Māori Cultural Experience in Kerikeri [Te Ahurea - formerly Rewa's Village].
The completed redevelopment has provided Ngāti Rēhia with further economic, social, cultural and environmental development opportunities, to create a wider range of revenue chanels for the Trust."

"The [Tūhono Kerikeri Bicentennial Project] Whānau festival fun day was arranged to be a celebration of cultures and was to have taken place on 21 March 2020. June worked tirelessly to put together a day that included events such as guided tours of the local church grounds, kainga and pā, heritage site archaelogical tours, a kapa haka stage with performances by several hundred school children, a woven installation by artist Tash Nikora, an exhibition of artworks by local students about the history of Kerikeri and a concert featuring Kawiti Waetford, the Māori Sidesteps and headlined by Troy Kingi.
